Ciska
Ciska is a dahlia that grows in my garden. From the moment it first appeared last spring, it had an undeniable presence, drawing your attention the instant you saw it. There is something about this flower that seems to invite you closer, encouraging you to pause and spend time with it. Its intricate design and remarkable colours are captivating, revealing more beauty the longer you look. Photographs can only capture so much—its true brilliance can only be fully appreciated in person. For those who cannot experience it firsthand, this piece is my attempt to capture the feeling of standing before Ciska and becoming completely immersed in its beauty.
